I grew up on the outskirts of Raleigh, North Carolina. While attending Gardner-Webb University, I fell in love with small-town college life and telling stories. After a year of teaching middle school and being a barista in Raleigh, I moved back to GWU to continue her education and work as a residence hall director (a job that I accidentally fell in love with). I currently lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with my two cats, Jinx and Salem. I spend my days writing books, drinking "just one more" cup of coffee, and attending far too many zoom meetings. I have my BA and MA in English and an obnoxious number of plants.
Of Cages and Crowns is my debut novel.
I typically write what I lovingly calls “kingdom lit.” In my books, you're sure to find lots of glittery gowns, bloody daggers, handsome princes, and kick-ass heroines.
